CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sakrete®, North America’s original bagged dry cement mix brand, introduces Paver Set® Polymeric Sand, a mixture of sand and special additives for paving stone joints. The only materials needed for product use are water and a broom. Sakrete’s Paver Set Polymeric Sand is applied by sweeping the sand into paver joints and then by misting with a fine spray of water to solidify.
The mixture hardens to resist washout, and inhibit weed growth and insects. Paver Set Polymeric Sand contains special polymers that adhere specifically to the substrate as the material cures. Once during is complete, Paver Set will resist erosion, making it excellent to use with sloping or uneven walkways, patios or driveways.
It is engineered to resist wind, rain, and freezing conditions better than regular sand, and also resist substrate movement without washing away.
