The Parents for Playgrounds Organization is headed up by Amy Welch at Shmamy Designs in Berlin, NH and on August 24, 2012 this community organization brought together volunteers to rebuild the playground at the Brown Elementary School in the northern New Hampshire town of Berlin.
The Sakrete Team was happy to commit to a donation of 112 bags of 80lb. Sakrete High Strength Concrete Mix through our Sakrete dealer, Caron Building Supply, in Berlin to assist Parents for Playgrounds with this community project.

We gathered the information below from the Brown Elementary School Website:
New Playground News
"We will finally be building this playground this Friday and Saturday, August 24 & 25. We have nearly met our goal of $30,000! We have already taken down the 22 year old wooden structure. The new equipment and playground mulch will be delivered on Friday and we will start working at 7:30 in the morning. Please come and help out. The more hands we have the faster and easier it will be. Also, come and see the painted areas around the playground, like the United States map, the racing lanes, hopscotch, and foursquares and our newly purchased Ball Toss that replaced the old and broken basketball hoops! Thanks for all of the community support! Please keep it up so that we can complete our task of giving the students of Brown School a safe playground to play on by the first day of school, August 29th."
