US MIX partners with Children’s Museum of Denver
“Super Sand Dome”
US MIX donated approximately 80,000 pounds of Play Sand to the Children’s Museum of Denver for a large exhibit running June 12 - September 12, 2010. The “Super Sand Dome” features a colorful, inflatable dome filled with piles of sand for kids to mold, build and create with. This 770 square foot play area makes it possible for kids to have “beach style fun” in Colorado.
Sakrete play sand was a great choice for the sand because it is a natural sand and consistent in size and color. Play Sand is washed, sterilized, dried and screened and contains no organic matter.
US MIX was happy to partner with the Children’s Museum of Denver who, since 1973, has been a leading Colorado resource for early childhood education and learning through play. The Children’s Museum is a well established community icon serving over 289,000 caregivers and children each year.
