Speed up the job with Sakrete Cement Mix Accelerator. This calcium chloride-based admixture is designed to accelerate the set of all Portland cement-based materials, allowing for pours in cold weather or other time-sensitive conditions.
Perfect for winter work or tight schedules, this accelerator helps teams pour and finish concrete faster without sacrificing overall strength. When used in winter it is not an anti-freeze but works to accelerate the set before the product has a chance to freeze.
It’s especially useful for footings, flatwork and fast-track repair jobs where delays can be costly. Pair it with Fast-Setting Concrete Mix for rapid turnaround projects or with 5000 Plus High Early Strength Concrete Mix for improved cold-weather performance. Always add it to the mix water for optimal dispersion.
