Stucco for High Moisture Regions
Sakrete Water-Resistant Stucco is the go-to stucco mix for high moisture regions. Formulated with advanced crystalline water-repellant technology, this Portland cement-based stucco mix can be used as a finish coat in 3-coat systems or a scratch & brown in two-coat systems.
This water-resistent stucco blend adds an extra layer of defense against wind-driven rain, humidity and coastal exposure, helping the wall system last longer. It’s ideal for exterior applications where conventional stucco may be vulnerable to moisture intrusion.
Pair it with One-Coat Fibered Stucco for reinforced assemblies or Finish Coat Stucco for a polished exterior appearance. When used over old stucco, Sakrete Concrete Glue or Sakrete Bonder & Fortifier is required.
Product Details
- A pre-blended stucco mix containing Portland cement, sand, and special crystalline water-repellant technology – just add water
- For scratch & brown applications in 2-coat and 3-coat systems where additional moisture resistance is required
- Can be spray-applied or trowel-applied
- Applications from 1/8" - 3/8"
- Yield at 1/8" thick: trowel applied - 70 ft2, spray applied - 60 ft2
